Turkish company reports that its planes were used illegally by Ghosn

Details about Carlos Ghosn's incredible escape from Japan continue to come to light. The name of a Turkish company that was involved in the operation is now known: MNG Jet.

Two MNG Jet planes were used on the escape: one flew from Dubai to Osaka, and then from the Japanese city to Istanbul, and the second from Turkish city to Lebanon, AP reported.

However, the airline claims that its aircraft were used illegally in the escape of the former Nissan president and that an employee falsified records.

This worker, according to MNG Jet, acted in a personal capacity and without the company's knowledge.

Ghosn's name is not in any flight-related documents.

The Turkish firm claims that the two planes were rented separately, in two contracts that apparently have no relation to each other.

MNG Jet has filed a criminal complaint in Turkey over the illegal use of its aircraft rental services. The company has not disclosed who it has reported or who is listed as customers in the rental agreements for the devices. (International Press)
