Teachers who put dog collars to student arrest in Japan

Nara Prefecture police arrested a teacher for placing dog collars on a student's neck and ankles.

The 62-year-old man, identified as Koji Ito, kept the teenager with the necklaces between 1 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. in a classroom on November 17 last year, Mainichi Shimbun reports.

The professor has admitted his guilt, but the reason why he acted that way has not been revealed.
